LGSL is proud to announce the start of our Tiny Tee-Ball program for 4 year-old girls.  This is an instructional 8 week Saturday only program.  The girls will learn the basic skills that will allow them to begin to play non-competitive tee ball games in week 5 of the program.  Parent coaches will receive training and materials that allow them to teach the proper skills to the team.

Registration for Tiny Tee Ball is only $35!

All of our registration fees includes the required $10 Loudoun County Sports fee as well as a complete uniform.

LIVE IN LEESBURG...PLAY FOR LEESBURG GIRLS SOFTBALL!

   Once you have registered you may participate in our FREE Winter Warm Ups starting in January.  These winter practice sessions are open only to girls who have registered for the Spring 2010 season.  Check the website later for more details.

Welcome to Leesburg Girls Softball!

Leesburg Girls Softball League (LGSL) is the premier softball organization serving all girls ages 5-18 who live or attend school in the greater Leesburg area.  LGSL is the largest Babe Ruth organization in the Commonwealth of VA as well as the largest softball organization in Loudoun County.  LGSL was established in 1997 and has been providing a high quality, fun, nurturing environment to all girls regardless of ability or playing experience ever since.  LGSL offers t-ball to recreational league softball as well as travel softball for girls who want a more competitive environment. This approach allows our girls to grow both socially and athletically while they learn the game of fastpitch softball.  Many of our girls have gone on to play high school softball and beyond.  LGSL is even more proud of the fact that our girls come back year after year and the growth of our league is proof that we are providing the BEST softball experience in Loudoun County!

Babe Ruth All Stars

"We are the Champions!"

Congratulations to all of the LGSL Babe Ruth All Star teams that participated in the 2009 Virginia State Babe Ruth Tournament.  LGSL was well represented in all age groups including two teams in the 8U and 10U divisions.

LGSL is proud to announce that the 8U Leesburg Freedom National team was crowned Virginia State Champion on July 1^st.  This is the first time in league history that a LGSL team has captured a State Championship. 

The Leesburg Freedom National team rolled through the competition at the Babe Ruth 8U State softball tournament, defeating five opponents by a combined score of 74-18 to win the state championship at our very own Freedom Park in Leesburg.  LGSL's very own Sam J. was named 8U State Tournament MVP!! 

The Freedom capped off their impressive run with an 11-4 victory over Glen Allen in the championship game July 3.  They will next play in the Southeast Regional tournament, which begins July 16 in Varina.
